Coaching Centre to Provide Systematic Guidance and Examination-Oriented

Training to Students

Dravidian University, Kuppam, inaugurated the UGC-NET and CSAT Coaching Classes

organized by the Dr.T.Shobha Rani & E.Harsha Vardhan UGC Coaching Centre of the

University on Monday, 31 August 2026, at Emeneau House.

The programme was inaugurated by Prof. L. C. Mallaiah, Vice-Chancellor, Dravidian

University. The programme was presided over by Prof. M. C. Kesava Murthy, Dean of

Academic Affairs I/c, while E.Harsha Vardhan, participated as a special invitee.

Addressing the students, the Vice-Chancellor emphasized the importance of systematic

preparation and continuous practice for success in competitive examinations. He encouraged

students to make effective use of the coaching facilities and academic support provided by the

University.

The UGC Coaching Centre has initiated the coaching programme with the objective of

providing students with systematic academic guidance, quality study materials, examination-

oriented training and continuous motivation for competitive examinations. The programme

primarily focuses on preparation for UGC-NET and CSAT, while also developing students'

analytical ability, research aptitude, problem-solving skills and examination preparedness.

The coaching classes are intended to provide regular academic support through structured

teaching, practice sessions and guidance from experienced faculty and subject experts. The

programme also aims to motivate students to pursue higher education, research and career

opportunities through competitive examinations.

The University authorities encouraged the students to utilize the opportunity effectively and

participate actively in the coaching sessions. The initiative is expected to strengthen the

academic capabilities of students and provide them with a structured platform for preparing for

national-level competitive examinations.

The programme was attended by University faculty members, UGC Coaching Centre

representatives and students.
